Deputy President William Ruto can no longer claim his role as Jubilee's deputy part party leader.
This pronouncement was made during the party's National Delegates Conference (NDC) at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) today, Saturday, in Nairobi.
Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been elected to retain his position as the Jubilee Party leader for another term of five years.
According to political analysts, this means that Mr. Kenyatta will be actively involved in the August 2022 general election.
in the meantime, Raphael Tuju has resigned from his position as the party secretary-general and his position was given to Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni.,
On the same note, David Murathe has been retained as the deputy vice-chairman under Nelson Nzuya while Kitutu chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi has been appointed to replace DP William Ruto as leader Jubilee deputy party leaders.
Others include Katobu Ngatobu, Naomi Shaban, and Peter Mositet.
Kieni MP Kanini Kega is the Jubilee party director of elections.
